Scientifically there is a reason for your continuous return to the "junk food junkie" habit. But knowing that, that's not any consolation to most people. So here below I have a list of five of the best fat-burning snacks* you can utilize on a daily basis to try and win the war against the battle of the bulge.
Bye-bye...battle of the bulge!

- stalk of celery with a tablespoon of almond (or pecan butter)
- a bowl of fresh organic berries (raspberries, blackberries or blueberries are the best choices) with a piece of organic string cheese
- slice of grass-fed turkey breast wrapped in a piece of romaine lettuce with a slice of tomato and a few thin slices of red onion. Drizzle this with a thin layer of extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle some italian seasonings if you desire.
- a whey protein shake with a couple of tablespoons of hemp, pumpkin and chia seeds, four to five pieces of both walnuts and brazil nuts, a couple of tablespoons of almond butter and then add one banana and a cup of frozen berries. Add one cup of water and 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, mix in a blender and three people now have a smoothie to fill them with energy and nutrition to last the entire day long.
- one-half of a large apple with 12 pieces of raw unpasteurized almonds or spread the apple slices with almond butter
Bye-bye...battle of the bulge!
